Citizens Newcomers Group - Sundays (May 5th - June 30th) @ 11am - 1pm Our Sunday experience can be intimidating especially for those who are new to our community. Through Citizens Newcomers Group we hope to create a space of welcome and connection. At each gathering we hope to connect with one another over a meal and intentional sermon discussion. This group is for those who have began attending Citizens within the last 6 months and are waiting to be plugged into a Community Group. These groups will meet right after our 9:30AM service on campus. Lunch and childcare [for ages 3 yr old and up] will be provided so we kindly ask that you register your child(ren). Registration fee of $30 per adult will cover lunch and childcare for all 5 gatherings. Register
Children's Hunger Fund Poverty Encounter - Saturday (April 27th @ 9:45am) Children’s Hunger Fund has come up with an amazing tour called Poverty Encounter in their warehouse in Sylmar. During this hour-long tour, we will be going on an education and immersive tour that encounters the stories of multiple children living in poverty. After the tour, we also get an opportunity to take action by packing food boxes for those in need. The Poverty Encounter cost will be $7/person (free admission for children 0 - 5 years old). RSVP
City Happy Hour x LA Mission Hygiene Kit Drive - Tuesday (April 30th @ 7pm) Join us for our next City Happy Hour where we will be gathering for some midweek drinks and small bites in the Arts District. This upcoming event will be a joint collaboration with our City Partnerships Ministry who will be providing supplies for us to put together hygiene kits that will be dropped off at LA Mission to be passed out to the unhoused in Skid Row. This is a great opportunity for us to meet new people while serving alongside one another. The cost per person is $20 and this will cover your first drink and some appetizers for us to all share. City Post Grad Luncheon - Sunday (May 5th after 11:30am Service) If you are a post-grad, we invite you to join us for our Post-Grad Fellowship Lunch happening after our 11:30am Service on May 5th. We will be meeting outside the auditorium immediately after second service. This is a great opportunity to meet others at our church in a similar lifestage! RSVP
