Eat, Work, Play Course - Saturdays, 3/7 - 3/28 @ 9am
For many of us, faith has been confined to a small set of explicitly religious activities - prayer, church services, Bible studies - while the vast majority of our lives feel ordinary and disconnected from God. But what if faith was never meant to be compartmentalized? What if the places we’ve labeled “ordinary” are actually the primary places God is forming us? Join us for a four-week journey as we build on our recent sermon series, Faith Reimagined: Enjoying God’s Presence in the Places We Eat, Work, and Play. From the Garden of Eden to the ministry of Jesus, we will consider how our everyday rhythms of eating, working and playing were always intended to be gifts - portals that allow us to experience the fullness of life with Jesus. Light breakfast and coffee will be provided.

Premarital Course - Wednesdays, 3/4 - 3/25 @ 7:30pm
This class is for those engaged or expecting to get married next 6 months. There will be four sessions total, covering a variety of topics related to marriage. Just as our faith journey cannot be traveled alone, we believe community also plays a vital role in a healthy marriage. This class is for Citizens LA members ONLY. If you're not a member or don't plan on becoming one, our Care Ministry will provide referrals for premarital counselors.

LA Marathon Sunday - Sunday, March 8th @ 11:30am
Due to the LA Marathon and road closures impacting access to Grand Arts, on Sunday, March 8th, we will have one service at 11:30am. Children’s Ministry will also take place at 11:30am in the classrooms. Since we will be combining services, we are expecting more people on campus at the same time than usual, parking will be limited. Please consider carpooling or utilizing free parking at our overflow lot at 721 N Hill St. (9-minute walk from campus). Thank you for your flexibility and we look forward to worshiping together as one church family!
Parenting & Faith Conversations - Saturday, March 7th @ 10am
Parenting and Faith Conversations is a space for parents to come together, share stories, and reflect on the joys and challenges of raising children while walking in faith. Join us for honest conversation, encouragement, and connection as we learn from one another’s journeys. Our first conversation will focus on: "Discipline, Authority, and Godly Parenting", exploring how we navigate guidance, boundaries, and grace in our homes while seeking to honor God in the process. We’d love for you to be part of the conversation.

Digital Fast
Lent is a season in the Christian calendar observed during the 40 days leading up to Easter. During this time, many followers of Jesus practice fasting as a way of intentionally saying no to fleeting pleasures and longings in order to say yes to feasting on the presence of God. This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in a church-wide digital fast. Through this fast, we hope to grow in awareness of how our devices form us and to uncover any unhealthy dependencies we may have developed. We believe awareness is the first step toward cultivating a healthier relationship with technology. Our prayer is that, as we silence the noise and distractions in our lives, we would become more fully present in our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with those around us. The Digital Fast Guide provides more details on how to participate along with various spiritual practices designed to help you grow in deeper intimacy with Jesus. We are excited for all that we will experience and discover as we enter into this Lenten season together as a church family. Pick up a copy of the Lenten Reading Plan at the Welcoming Tent.
