Early Morning Prayer - Passion Week 3/30 - 4/4 @ 6am
Join us during Passion Week for a special time of early morning prayer as we reflect on the sacrifice and love of Christ. As we remember His journey to the cross, these moments of prayer will help us slow down, listen to God, and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter. Come join us from 6AM-7AM at the Highland Park Church as we seek the presence of God together.
Good Friday Service - Friday, April 3rd @ 7:30pm
Good Friday Service will be on April 3rd at 7:30PM at Grand Arts High School. Join us as we worship, take communion, and reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross. We will also be offering intercessory prayer after service for those who would like to receive prayer. Please note that childcare will not be provided.
Easter Sunday - Sunday, April 5th @ 9:30am & 11:30am
Easter Sunday is on Sunday, April 5th and we are excited to celebrate the resurrection of Christ together as a church community. Service times will be at 9:30am and 11:30am at Grand Arts High School and Children’s Ministry will be offered during first service only. As we are anticipating higher attendance than usual on Easter Sunday, we encourage carpooling and the use of our free overflow parking lot at 721 N Hill St. We will also have a photo-booth and kimbap to-go for folks to enjoy after service!
Alpha Team 2026 - Wednesdays, 5/6 - 6/17 @ 7:30pm
Alpha is a welcoming, conversational space to explore the basics of the Christian faith and ask life’s biggest questions in a safe, hospitable environment. At Citizens, Alpha is centered around the table—a place where everyone has a seat and every question is valued. Sharing a meal together is a key part of that table, creating time to slow down, connect, and build community. We would love for you to join us and be a part of God's work of grace.
The Alpha Team consists two different groups:
Digital Fast
Lent is a season in the Christian calendar observed during the 40 days leading up to Easter. During this time, many followers of Jesus practice fasting as a way of intentionally saying no to fleeting pleasures and longings in order to say yes to feasting on the presence of God. This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in a church-wide digital fast. Through this fast, we hope to grow in awareness of how our devices form us and to uncover any unhealthy dependencies we may have developed. We believe awareness is the first step toward cultivating a healthier relationship with technology. Our prayer is that, as we silence the noise and distractions in our lives, we would become more fully present in our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with those around us. The Digital Fast Guide provides more details on how to participate along with various spiritual practices designed to help you grow in deeper intimacy with Jesus. - Table leaders: responsible for creating a safe and open environment for questions, and facilitating discussions
- Hospitality Team: responsible for creating a hospitable environment by setting the tables and preparing the meals.
