Digital Fast Lent is a season in the Christian calendar observed during the 40 days leading up to Easter. During this time, many followers of Jesus practice fasting as a way of intentionally saying no to fleeting pleasures and longings in order to say yes to feasting on the presence of God. This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in a church-wide digital fast. Through this fast, we hope to grow in awareness of how our devices form us and to uncover any unhealthy dependencies we may have developed. We believe awareness is the first step toward cultivating a healthier relationship with technology. Our prayer is that, as we silence the noise and distractions in our lives, we would become more fully present in our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with those around us. The Digital Fast Guide provides more details on how to participate along with various spiritual practices designed to help you grow in deeper intimacy with Jesus. We are excited for all that we will experience and discover as we enter into this Lenten season together as a church family. Download Digital Fast Guide
Heart-to-Heart Convos for Parents of 3-5 Year Olds - Saturday, February 7th @ 10am Let's have a conversation around parenthood! The ages of 3-5 can be some of the cutest and most fun years - but also some of the hardest. Our kids are starting to figure out what they want, speak up and assert their personal desires, and feel ALL the big feelings (with not much control). Our task as parents is to teach and guide our children through these years. Come hang out with Grace Kim, LMFT, and Cat Yun, our Children’s Ministry Director, for a time of learning, sharing stories, and reflecting on this wild and wonderful stage of parenting. Join us for lunch afterwards. There’ll be a panel of parents from different backgrounds and life stages ready to answer your questions—so bring whatever’s on your mind. We encourage both parents to attend. We will provide childcare for children 3 years and older, however, spots will be limited. Register
