Newcomers Lunch - Sunday, May 31st after 11:30am Service
If you are new or new-ish to our church, we'd love to meet you! On the last Sunday of each month after the 11:30am service, some of us go out to eat and would love it if you can join us for casual lunch in Koreatown. Usually no signup is necessary. However, since this will be our first Newcomers Lunch after moving to Grand Arts, please RSVP so we can avoid becoming too large of a group.

City Summer Bowling League - Wednesdays, 6/10 - 7/1 @ 6:30pm
City Events is hosting a Summer Bowling League every Wednesday from June 10th - July 1st (4 weeks). Each evening will be spent eating, bowling, and enjoying fellowship with one another. Please join us at Shatto 39 Lanes located in Koreatown LA. All skill levels are welcome! There are 25 bowling spots available with an option to also rent shoes. If you have your own shoes they must be specifically designed for bowling. Please remember to wear/bring socks! Any spectators must register to be included with the food headcount. Spots are limited and will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Free parking is available at an indoor garage below the bowling alley. Organized bowling will start promptly at 7pm so please arrive at 6:30pm each week for parking and registration. If you have any questions, please reach out to Syl Chang (syl@citizensla.org). Grief & Loss Event - Saturday, May 23rd @ 10am
The Gospel Care team wants to invite you to join us as we explore the topics of Loss and Grief. Loss is the experience of being separated from someone or something important to us, such as a person, role, relationship, or way of life, in a way that can deeply affect our mental and emotional well-being. We hope these events will offer insight into our own experiences as well as help us experience God's care and compassion in and through community. Registration cost will cover lunch and childcare will be provided. If you have any questions, please email david@citizensla.org.

Hospitality Welcoming Team Volunteers Needed
Our Hospitality Ministry is looking for volunteers to join the Welcoming Team for the 11:30AM service. We are very thankful to have welcomed many new members earlier this year, but are still short-handed for the second service. Whether you've been attending Citizens for a while and are looking for a way to get more involved, or you're fairly new and would like to meet a smaller group of people at church more consistently, fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and Julie who coordinates the ministry will welcome you right in!

Children's Ministry Summer Volunteers Needed
Our Children's Ministry is looking for short-term summer volunteers who are able to help out during the summer (June - August) while many of our college volunteers return home for their summer break. If you have a heart for children or are looking for ways to serve the church body - we encourage you to sign up!

As a church, we want to continue growing as a community that shares life together, not just on Sundays, but in the everyday ways God is moving in and among us. To help make space for that, we’ve created a simple way for you to share both your stories and your prayer requests with our team. Whether it’s something God has been doing in your life or something you would like prayer for, we would genuinely love to hear from you. Our hope is that this can become a meaningful rhythm in our church, a place where stories of God’s faithfulness are shared and where no one has to carry burdens alone.
