Let's have a conversation around parenthood! As you head into potentially the biggest change of your lives, what are some things you can expect and what are some things you ought to think through? Join Grace Kim, LMFT, and Cat Yun, CM Director for a time of learning, sharing, and reflection. Also, join us for lunch afterwards as we have a time of fellowship and space for you to ask questions! We will have a panel of parents with varying backgrounds/lifestages that you can direct your questions to!

City Supper Club - Host Signups
City Supper Club is a new way for our church to practice hospitality and deepen community around the table. Throughout September, we're inviting members of our community to open their homes on Sunday evenings (5-7pm) for a simple shared meal. Throughout Scripture, meals were more than food. They were places of welcome, belonging, and friendship. Jesus regularly gathered around the table with all kinds of people, and the early church devoted themselves to fellowship by breaking bread together (Acts 2:42-47). If you're willing to host, simply choose the Sunday that works best for you, decide how many people you'd like to invite, and keep it as simple as you'd like. No fancy meal required. Just an open table and a welcoming home!

Intro to Community is a 3-hour class exploring a biblical framework of community, our unique witness as a countercultural presence in Los Angeles, and practices that cultivate authentic community. We'll also share the vision, values, and rhythms of our Community Groups. This one-time class is the pathway to joining a Community Group here at Citizens. New members interested in joining a Community Group for the first time must complete the Intro to Community class prior to signing up for a group. Breakfast and coffee will be provided!

On Sunday, July 12th, after the 9:30AM service, we'd love to invite you to join us for our New CG Leaders Info Session. At Citizens, we believe that we can be transformed to be more like Jesus in the ordinary rhythm of eating, praying, sharing, and learning in smaller more intimate communities. As such, Community Groups are at the heart of how we grow together and we believe God may be inviting some of you into this next step of leadership.
