Women's Worship Gathering - Saturday, September 19th @ 7:30pm
Our Citizens Women's Ministry is hosting an All Women's Worship Gathering taking place on Saturday, September 19th from 7:30PM-9:30PM at the Church Office in Highland Park. We are excited to enter this new ministry year with an intentional time of worship and prayer with women across different ages and life stages. These worship gatherings play an important role in our women's ministry as we seek to cultivate a culture of worship, prayer, and community for the women of our church. Light refreshments will be provided! Our team will reach out to you with more information leading up to the worship gathering date. We hope you'll join us!

Village Kickoff - Sunday, September 20th | 27th @ 11:15am-1:15pm
Let’s build community—one family at a time! Join us for our Village Kickoff to meet families in your area, hear what Villages are all about, and discover how we can encourage one another as we follow Jesus and grow in faith and parenting together. This year, we’re introducing a new way for families to join a Village. Instead of being assigned to a Village, families will have the opportunity to choose and sign up for a Village based on the region and community that best fits their family. Come hear about the updates, learn more about the Villages in your area, and get ready to find your Village!

Encore City Brunch (for Ages 50+) - Saturday, September 26th @ 11am
This event is for folks at Citizens who are ages 50 and up! Join us on Saturday, September 26th for brunch followed by a time to get to know one another over conversation. We will be meeting at our church office in Highland Park (5260 Lincoln Ave. Los Angeles, 90042). There's a growing community of folks ages 50 and up and this is a space for you all to connect and support one another in your journey of faith. RSVP cost will go directly towards covering the cost of your meal. Tickets are non-refundable so please consider carefully before purchasing!

AI & Everyday Life Seminar - Saturday, October 3rd @ 10am
AI is quickly becoming a part of everyday life, but how should we think about it, use it, and live wisely alongside it? Join us for a practical and thoughtful time learning about what AI is and how it works, how to use it safely and effectively, and how our Christian faith can guide us in navigating AI’s impact on our faith, relationships, and wellbeing. Our time together will be lecture style with a Q&A at the end. This seminar will be taught by our church member Roy Chung, an AI Strategist with 20 years of experience building data and AI systems for large companies.

Discerning Your Spiritual Gifts Class - Saturday, September 19th @ 9am
This 3 hour class will explore how God has uniquely gifted and equipped you to serve. Through biblical teaching, reflection, and practical exercises, we hope each person can walk away with a better understanding of their own spiritual gifts and how they can use them to grow in faith and bless others. No prior knowledge is necessary, just come with an open heart to learn and reflect!

City Supper Club (Sign-ups Open)
Every Sunday in the month of September, members from our church will be hosting various suppers in their homes throughout the city. The idea of sharing a meal together is quite simple & ordinary - and yet it is one of the most profound & powerful ways Jesus showed us what the kingdom of God actually looks like. We're calling these gatherings City Suppers and we'd love for you to join us for one! The link below shows all the hosts, locations, and dates for the City Suppers being offered.
