Children's Ministry - Volunteers Needed! Our Children's Ministry is in need of 14 more volunteers who are able to serve at least 3 times a month for the duration of the school year. We are also looking for 3 additional volunteers who can be paired specifically with one child who may need a little extra care and attention throughout the school year. LHTP Back To School Pantry & Carnival - Aug. 3rd @ 10am - 11pm Join us as we serve the neighborhood of Lincoln Heights on Saturday Aug. 3rd at 10am with our partners Lincoln Heights Tutorial Program. We will be joining Dennis and Trinh and the whole LHTP team with a Back To School Pantry & Carnival event where we will be handing out backpacks, facilitating games, and helping serve lunch for the students. This event is also a great opportunity for us to build meaningful relationships with the students of LHTP and share the love of Christ with the neighborhood. Sign-Up
Family Meal for People in the Food, Beverage, & Retail Industry - Aug. 5th @ 7pm - 9pm Our next City Dinner is for those who work in the Food, Beverage, and Retail Industry. If you're a restaurant owner, a chef, a barista, or anything in-between - we invite you to join us for a Family Meal! A family meal in the restaurant industry refers to when a restaurant serves dinner to its staff after peak hours. Typically the meal is served to the entire staff at once, with all staff being treated equally like a "family." The host for the evening will be Brian Lee - a member of our church and owner of Open Market in Koreatown. Working in these sectors, though rewarding, often can be physically demanding and tough. We hope this can be a space for folks to unwind together and share their stories of working in the industry! RSVP
