Lent is a season in the Christian calendar observed during the 40 days leading up to Easter. During this time, many followers of Jesus practice fasting as a way of intentionally saying no to fleeting pleasures and longings in order to say yes to feasting on the presence of God. This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in a church-wide digital fast. Through this fast, we hope to grow in awareness of how our devices form us and to uncover any unhealthy dependencies we may have developed. We believe awareness is the first step toward cultivating a healthier relationship with technology. Our prayer is that, as we silence the noise and distractions in our lives, we would become more fully present in our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with those around us.
